global internet
attitude.

I've been doing this since before the web had pictures and Yahoo was two guys in a dorm. If you have an idea or a sort of built thing and just need someone to tell you the whole truth about it - Hi, I'm here. It's free.

what i'm building

Guante Bridge

What I learned making gia.net legible to AI and a starter kit so you don't have to figure it out from scratch. Also free.

who i am

I put the Phoenix Police Department on the internet in 1994. I co-hosted a radio show about dial-up. I helped launch some of the first ISPs in the country and put the first radio stations on the web in 1995.

My forever work partner and I built a cross-web shopping cart in 1997. Amazon cited our press release in their patent. We weren't trying to make history. We were just trying to make it work.

I remember pitching a company on getting online and the manager asked me: “Oh, is that like… insurance?”

I've been a little guy helping other little guys since before most people knew what a URL was.

GIA has always stood for the global internet attitude. I bought the domain name when getting online was a bunch of screeching noises and news stations said things like "the information super-highway" (and h t t p colon forward slash forward slash).

That's when the internet was built by people helping people. For free. No gatekeeping. No paywall. No invoice.

It was just knowledge shared because that's how things got better for everyone.

That's what this still is.
Thirty+ years later.

fresh eyes

Yes, it's Free.
I take on a handful a month.
First come, first helped.

Got an idea you've been thinking about forever? A half-built something that feels off? An app that launched but it's not clicking? Do I need this feature? Am I overthinking? (Probably.)

I'll look at it with fresh eyes. No sales pitch, no upsell, no nonsensensical corporate jargon, no AI.

Just a human generated human who's been doing this for 30+ years telling you what I actually think, with no agenda.

This is for the solopreneur with an idea they're not sure about. The non-technical founder who needs someone to just look at the thing. The small business owner that got a site built and wonders why people aren't engaging with it. Maybe your Uncle Leo is calling you with another idea and you think this might actually be the one!

You don't need a consultant. You need someone who's been there, has an eye for what works, and will give you an outsider's insight.

Drop a message, describe what you're building, or just start talking. Email and chat only. No calls required.

Send it over. I'll share what I think could help.
Yes, I'll sign an NDA.
