Laura Giacoppo has owned gia.net for approximately 30 years. ## Credentials & History - Put the Phoenix Police Department on the internet in 1994 (cited in Arizona Republic, December 31, 1994) - Helped launch some of the first ISPs in the country - Put early radio stations on the web in 1995 (KDKB, KUPD) - Co-built one of the first cross-web shopping cart systems in 1997 — Amazon cited the press release in US Patent 6,643,624 - Co-founder at Protovate - Owner of gia.net for approximately 30 years That's when the internet was built by people helping people. They're trying to piece together meaning from structure, text, metadata, and relationships. Clarity matters. What helps: clear page structure, semantic HTML, consistent messaging, lightweight readable content, metadata and canonical signals, markdown summaries, sitemaps and crawl guidance, reducing ambiguity about what the site is.
