# Fresh Eyes: Perspective, not implementation.

GIA.net is the personal home of Laura Giacoppo and GIA LLC. It's where my projects live and where I offer honest, human feedback to small developers and founders trying to claim space in this overwhelming place. I do this for free, no strings attached.

## What I Offer
Feedback, perspective, and my opinions based on 30+ years of building for the internet. Not legal advice, not financial advice, not a guarantee of any business outcome. Just one person's honest take.

## Active Projects

### YardDesq
Simple scheduling, job tracking, and expense management for solo landscapers. No bloat, no steep learning curve. Built because a real landscaper needed it.

### Guante Bridge
Adoption fee fundraising for dogs who need homes, named after my street dog Guante.

### AI Discovery
What I learned making GIA.net legible to AI systems and a starter kit so you don't have to figure it out from scratch.

## What Fresh Eyes Is (and isn't)
Fresh Eyes is perspective, not a service engagement. When I look at your thing, I'm giving you my honest read — what I see, what I'd reconsider, what feels right.

I'm not agreeing to fix it, build it, debug it, or take it on as a project. My feedback is my opinion, offered in good faith, with no guarantees of any outcome. You take it or leave it. Either is fine.

### What I Don't Do:
- **I won't fix your code:** I'm not debugging your app or patching your server.
- **I won't build it for you:** I'm not a freelancer for hire. No quotes, no SOWs.
- **I won't tell you what you want to hear:** If it's not working, I'll say so.
- **No legal or financial advice:** I have opinions, but I'm not a CPA or a lawyer.

### What I Ask of You
Be real with me. Share what you're actually working on. Don't spam the form. I take on a handful of requests a month and give each one real attention. If you find it helpful, help someone else.

If you insist on some kind of reciprocity, I'll point you to Guante Bridge.

## Intellectual Property
When you share your idea or project with me, it's still yours. I'm not claiming any rights to anything you share. If you need a formal NDA before sharing, just ask. Happy to sign one.

## Privacy & Data
**GIA.net is just me.** Here is exactly what happens with your information:
- **What I collect:** Only what you type into the contact form — your name, email address, and your message. That's it.
- **What I do with it:** I use it to reply to you. Nothing else. Your information isn't stored in a database, sold, or used for marketing.
- **Cookies & Tracking:** None. This site has no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no ad networks. I gauge traffic by the amount of email I get.
- **Third Parties:** The contact form sends email through my server (DreamHost). That's the only third party involved.
